9:00am - American Smooth

11:20am - International Standard

2:24pm - lunch break

2:54pm - American Rhythm

5:19pm - International Latin

Registration and payments

Please register on the 02CM and for payments please fill out this form.

Prices are as follows per person:

Early Registration (Ends January 18th, 2025) -- $45

General Registration (Ends January 25th, 2025) -- $50

Late Registration (Ends February 1st, 2025) -- $55

Rules and Eligibility

Newcomer dancers must have begun competing no earlier than August 2024.

(We will make exceptions on a case-by-case basis, but please be considerate. If you have never competed but have been dancing socially for two years, you are probably too advanced for Newcomer.)

Dancing down is strongly discouraged. We are enforcing use of the YCN point system; if you are unsure where your standing is, check your point total here. More comprehensive rules for YCN here.

This competition is restricted to amateurs only. No professional dancers or dance teachers are permitted to compete in a university-organized competition. If you are a professional dancer or teacher and would like to perform a showcase, please contact us separately.

Other registration rules are as follows: 

• Multi-level couples must dance at the level of the more advanced partner. 

• You may register for a dance at a higher level that is not offered in your level.

• Double-registering is permitted only for adjacent levels. For example, you may dance both Gold Smooth and Novice Smooth, but not Gold Latin and Pre-Champ Latin.

All eligibility rules apply regardless of leading or following.

Judges will have authority to invigilate syllabus egregious violations.

Costumes
All dancers wearing heels must be wearing heel protectors or equivalent. Costumes are permitted at every level.

Photography
is expressly… permitted! Have a blast.

Spectators
are welcome! Spectator tickets will cost $5, to be paid at the door.
