Lessons Schedule

BLAST offers dance lessons at both the Beginner and Intermediate level. All lessons are free and open to Northwestern students and the Evanston community, and take place every quarter.

All lessons can be taught in socks, so don’t worry about bringing shoes if you don’t have any (looking at you, beginners lol).

Note: These are Latin focused lessons, so please only attend if you are well-versed in samba, rumba, jive, and/or cha cha!

Practice Spaces

In addition to our weekly lessons, we also have weekly open practice spaces at EAC and SPAC. Join us for guided one-on-one sessions for a particular dance, work on perfecting a specific move, or just to spend a couple hours dancing!

  • Tuesdays from 7-9pm, at Evanston Athletic Center

  • Thursdays from 1:15-5:15pm, at SPAC Studio 2
